A few months ago Maxus participated in the WPP Retail Forum in Miami. We chose to use that forum as a showcase of interesting technology and analytics in the retail space, that we'd been developing and sharing in some of our local markets with key local clients to help them lean into change. We took over a large exhibition space, and Metalworks, our creative technology division, put together a collection of interesting live exhibits, that we shared with over 150 delegates.

The key message that we wanted visitors to our space to walk away with was that by deploying smart technology, even in a small 'test and learn' selection of retail outlets, we will be able to:
a) better know what is happening at the last two meters just prior to the sale and
b) be able to make better investment decisions on all the activity leading up to the sale, by knowing what is happening at store.
